Yoshi Pokemon Adventure Stories

EPISODE 1: THE YOSHIS' FIRST POKEMON
Two Yoshi brothers (Kirb and Yoshi002) start on their first Pokemon journey from Fuschia City, to follow in the footpath of their cousin, Yoyo Yoshi. Kirb choses Dratini as his starting Pokemon, while Yoshi002 chooses Zubat.
Yoshi0007: Let's find some Pokemon to catch.
Yoshi002: There's a Seel!
Yoshi002 checks his Pokedex.
Pokedex: Seel, the seal Pokemon. It has circular eyes and a black nose that is capable of closing while Seel swims.
They rolled a die to see who gets to fight it. Kirb won.
Kirb: Dratini, go!
Dratini: Dratini!
Kirb: Dratini, wrap!
Yoshi002: What's that attack?
Yoshi002 checks his Pokedex.
Pokedex: Wrap. The Pokemon wraps itself around the other Pokemon, preventing it from escaping.
Dratini's HP: |||||||||||||||
Seel's HP: ||||||
Kirb: Dratini, wrap again!
Dratini successfully attacks Seel but it faints.
Kirb: Well, that sucks.
Yoshi002: Look, there’s a Meowth! I’m going to catch the Meowth!
Team Rocket, with Jessie, James, and Meowth, appear.
Jessie: To protect the world from devastation.
James: To unite all people within our nation.
Yoshi002: Who are you?
Jessie: We're Team Rocket. We're world famous!
Yoshi0007: Huh?
Jessie: We’re going to capture your Pokemon.
James: When you lose to us, all your Pokemon will be ours.
Yoshi0007: Fine! Let's go!
Jessie: Go, Arbok! Go, Lickitung! Go, Meowth!
Arbok: Charbok!
Lickitung: Licki!
Meowth: We'll roast them!
James: Weezing, go! Go, Victreebel!
Weezing: Weezing!
Victreebel: Victree!
Victreebel jumps on James.
James: Not again! What's wrong with you? Get off of me!
Kirb: Go, Dratini!
Dratini: Dratini!
Yoshi002: Zubat, go!
Zubat: Zu-bat!
Jessie: Arbok, go underground! Lickitung, lick Dratini! And Meowth, use the Gyarados ship!
A strange sound of “Dededede-trio-trio-trio” can be heard.
Kirb: What's that?
Pokédex: Diglett and Dugtrio. They spend much of its time underground, and have very thin skin. If they are exposed to sunlight, they become super annoying.
Yoshi002: Zubat, use Leech Life on a Diglett!
The attack is successful.
Yoshi002: Pokeball, go!
Yoshi002 catches a Diglett.
James: Did you forget about us?
Jessie: Weezing, use sludge against Zubat!
Weezing's HP: ||||||||||
Zubat's HP: |
Jessie: Arbok, finish Dratini off with your acid!
Arbok: |||||||||||
Dratini: ||
Jessie: It's over. Use the nets!
Team Rocket captures Dratini and Zubat.
Kirb: Oh no!
Yoshi002: Give us back our Pokemon!
Team Rocket drives off, but drops the nets. Kirb and Yoshi002 recover Dratini and Zubat. Meanwhile, Yoyo Yoshi, who left Fuschia City a day before Kirb and Yoshi002, is ready for his first Pokemon battle, running into trainers Koshi and Boshi.
Koshi: Goldeen, go!
Yoyo Yoshi: Rhyhorn, your turn!
Koshi: Goldeen, use peck!
Rhyhorn dodges Goldeen’s attack.
Yoyo Yoshi: Rhyhorn, horn attack!
Rhyhorn inflicts serious harm to Goldeen.
Koshi: Use peck again!
Yoyo Yoshi: Silly Koshi, tricks are for kids. Flying moves do nothing to Rhyhorn! Rhyhorn, horn attack again!
Rhyhorn defeats Goldeen.
Koshi: But I had a water type. Damn!
Boshi: You can’t beat me, Yoyo Yoshi. I’m 20 years old. Go, Kadabra!
Yoyo Yoshi: I’ll beat you, no problem.
Boshi: Kadabra, confusion!
Kadabra’s attack hits Rhyhorn, and Rhyhorn is confused.
Yoyo Yoshi: Rhyhorn, horn attack!
Rhyhorn’s attack hits Kadabra.
Boshi: Finish him off, Kadabra!
Kadabra’s second attack lands and hits Rhyhorn, who faints.
Yoyo Yoshi: Noooo!
Will Yoyo Yoshi bounce back from his defeat? What will Kirb and Yoshi002 do next? Stay tuned!
EPISODE 2: COUSINS BATTLE & THE BOULDER BADGE
A few days later, after crossing the bridge towards Viridian City, Kirb and Yoshi002 are close to Viridian City. Kirb is using Dratini to try to catch Rattata.
Yoshi002: Dratini, wrap!
Dratini’s attack greatly weakens Rattata.
Yoshi002: Finish it off! Pokeball, go!
Yoshi002 catches Rattata.
Yoshi002: I think we see Viridian Forest!
Kirb: We’re going to find new Pokemon there. I’m excited!
Kirb and Yoshi002 spot a rodent-like Pokemon.
Yoshi002: Cool! What is that?
Kirb: It’s a female Nidoran. Rattata, go!
Rattata: Rattata!
Kirb: Rattata, bite it!
Rattata bites Nidoran, but Nidoran tackles Rattata.
Kirb: Bite again!
Nidoran tries to tackle again, but Rattata bites Nidoran successfully.
Kirb: Nidoran is weak! Pokeball, go!
The Pokeball bounces twice, then captures Nidoran.
Kirb: Woohoo!
Kirb and Yoshi002 hear sounds from the distance.
Yoshi002: What’s that?
Kirb: That’s a Pikachu!
Pikachu: Pika!
Yoshi002: Diglett, go!
Diglett: Di-di!
Yoshi002: Diglett, scratch!
Diglett scratches and weakens Pikachu, whose thunder shock has no effect.
Yoshi002: Pokeball, go!
Yoshi002 captures Pikachu. They then leave the Viridian Forest and enter Pewter City.
Yoshi002: That's Pewter Gym!
They saw the ending of the match in front of the gym.
Banshee: Seel, hang on! Headbutt!
Yoyo Yoshi: Tauros, tackle!
Tauros knocks out Seel.
Kirb and Yoshi002 step up.
Yoshi002: Is that you, Yoyo Yoshi?
Yoyo Yoshi: It sure is. How are you all doing?
Kirb: We caught a bunch of Pokemon and were looking to battle you.
Yoyo Yoshi: Awesome. Let’s battle! Two Pokemon each? Who wants to battle?
Yoshi002: I’ll battle. Go, Diglett!
Yoyo Yoshi: Go, Rhyhorn!
Yoshi002: Diglett, dig!
Yoyo Yoshi: Rhyhorn, horn attack!
Diglett escapes underground, then comes out and knocks out a confused Rhyhorn.
Yoyo Yoshi: You’re not bad. Tauros, go! Use tackle!
Yoshi002: Diglett, dig!
A fast Tauros knocks out Diglett before Diglett can dig.
Yoshi002: Go, Pikachu! Use thunder shock!
Yoyo Yoshi: Tackle again, Tauros!
Tauros slams into Nidoran and Nidoran goes flying, fainting.
Yoyo Yoshi: I guess it’s my turn to beat Brock, the gym leader. Come back when your Pokemon is stronger.
Kirb and Yoshi002 leave, and heal their Pokemon at the Pokemon Center.
Kirb: How do we defeat Tauros? We need to train harder!
Yoshi002: We also need more Pokemon. I see one right now! What is it? It’s a Pidgey!
Pokedex: Pidgey, the bird Pokemon. Pidgey has an extremely sharp sense of direction and homing instincts.
Kirb: This is my day. Dratini, go! Use wrap!
Dratini wraps around a Pidgey trying to use gust, and traps it.
Kirb: Pokeball, go!
Kirb catches Pidgey.
Kirb: Now that I have Dratini, Nidoran, Rattata, and Pidgey, I’m ready!
Kirb and Yoshi002 return to the gym.
Brock: Are you sure you are both ready? I am Pewter City’s gym leader.
Yoshi002: We definitely are. Let’s battle.
Kirb: And I’ll battle after Kirb.
Brock: If you’re so confident, let’s battle. Geodude, I choose you!
Yoshi002: Go, Diglett!
Brock: Geodude, use tackle!
Yoshi002: Dig!
Geodude is confused and doesn’t know where Diglett went. Diglett emerges and sends Geodude flying.
Brock: No! Geodude, use defense curl!
Yoshi002: Diglett, dig again!
Brock’s Geodude gets hit again and it faints.
Brock: No! Geodude, return! Yoshi002, you are well deserving of the Boulder Badge. Here you go.
Brock hands Yoshi002 the Boulder Badge.
Brock: And now, Kirb, it is your turn. You ready to take me on?
Kirb: I’ve been waiting for this for a long time!
Brock: Go, Onix!
Kirb: Dratini, it’s your turn!
Brock: Your Dratini looks scared, and so do you. Onix will crush you.
Kirb: Not so fast! Wait and see what Dratini will do!
Brock: Fair enough. Onix, bind!
Kirb: Dratini, wrap!
Bystanders look confused as both Pokemon try to bind and wrap each other. Dratini is more successful.
Brock: Huh? How did that happen?
Kirb: That’s right. Dratini, keep wrapping!
Dratini manages to put Onix in a chokehold and Onix faints.
Brock: How can that be? Onix, return! You are worthy of the Boulder Badge, Kirb. Here’s another one made from the finest rocks in Pewter City.
Kirb: Thank you. Yoshi002 and I are trying to become Pokemon masters! Have you fought someone by the name of Yoyo Yoshi?
Brock: I have. He used a Scyther against me. It bugged me and I lost. Enjoy the rest of your journey and come back and visit!
As our heroes leave Pewter City, all three Yoshis have each earned their first gym badge. What will happen next? We’ll have to see in the next episode.
EPISODE 3: MT. MOON
Kirb and Yoshi002 run into Yoyo Yoshi again.
Yoyo Yoshi: I see that you are also well on your way to become a Pokemon master. But you’re not going to defeat me in a rematch!
Kirb: Let’s see what happens. Let’s battle!
Yoyo Yoshi: 1 on 1 against both of you? You better be ready. I caught my Pokemon when I was throwing rocks at Pokemon in the Safari Zone.
Kirb: Sure, whatever. Let’s battle! Go, Pidgey!
Yoyo Yoshi: Rhyhorn, go!
Kirb: Gulp. Pidgey, use gust!
Yoyo Yoshi: Nice try, but flying type moves don’t work on my Rhyhorn. Rhyhorn, use horn attack!
Rhyhorn instantly knocks out Pidgey.
Kirb: Pidgey, return!
Yoshi002: My turn now. Go, Diglett!
Yoyo Yoshi: Rhyhorn, horn attack!
Yoshi002: Diglett, fire blast!
Yoyo Yoshi: Fire blast?
Yoshi002: Just kidding, Diglett doesn’t know that move. Diglett, dig!
Diglett and Rhyhorn attack each other, knocking each other out at the same time.
Yoshi002: Diglett, return.
Yoyo Yoshi: Hey, the match isn’t over yet. This was a tie.
Yoshi002: Diglett, you did a great job even though you lost. We'll try again next time.
Yoyo Yoshi: Wait up!
Yoshi002: What? Did I forget something?
Yoyo Yoshi: You did. Can I join you guys?
Yoshi002: Why?
Yoyo Yoshi: You are kind to your Pokemon, and I can learn a lot from that experience. Let me join you.
Yoshi002: Sure. Okay.
Kirb: Wait for me!
Yoyo Yoshi, Yoshi002, and Kirb head to Mt. Moon.
Kirb: I see a Pokemon! Is that a Paras?
Yoyo Yoshi: It sure is.
Kirb: Rattata, go! Rattata, bite Paras until it faints!
Rattata does exactly that.
Kirb: Pokeball, go!
The Pokeball bounces three times, and then Oddish joins the party.
Yoyo Yoshi: Good job!
Yoshi002: I see a Geodude, help! It looks like it has biceps!
Yoyo Yoshi: Go, Tangela! Use absorb!
Tangela steals most of Geodude’s HP while Geodude is flexing.
Yoyo Yoshi: Pokeball, go!
Yoyo Yoshi captures the Geodude on the first bounce.
Yoshi002 spots a weird looking Pokemon.
Yoshi002: Wow! Look at that!
Yoyo Yoshi: That’s a…a…
Kirb: Silly Yoshi, that’s just a dressed up Jigglypuff with sunglasses on.
Yoshi002: Go, Diglett! Attack with dig!
Jigglypuff proceeds to sing the horrible making everyone sleepy song. When everyone wakes up, they found a new type of Pokemon (credit Cameron Tidd).
Pokedex: Ahhchuu, the sneezing Pokemon. This Pokemon sneezes and spreads the Influenza disease.
Yoyo Yoshi: I guess it’s time to run to Cerulean City.
The heroes run to Cerulean City.
Yoyo Yoshi: You know, I’ve been looking to battle you again, Yoshi002. You beat me last time.
Yoshi002: Rematch? I like the sound of that.
Yoyo Yoshi: Go, Tauros!
Yoshi002: Go Diglett! Use dig!
Yoyo Yoshi: Tauros, tackle!
Diglett digs its way to victory over Tauros.
Yoyo Yoshi: Tauros, return! Go, Tangela!
Yoshi002: Tangela? Diglett, dig!
Yoyo Yoshi: Tangela, absorb!
Tangela absorbs all of Diglett’s life force.
Yoshi002: Diglett, return! Go, Zubat!
Zubat: Zu-bat bat bat!
Yoshi002: Zubat, leech life!
Yoyo Yoshi: Tangela, absorb!
Tangela absorbs at a faster pace than Zubat, knocking Zubat out.
Yoshi002: Well, that sucks. Wait, what is that Pokemon?
Pokedex: Rainsplat, the grass, poison, and water type Pokemon. It is even stronger than Mewtwo.
Yoyo Yoshi: I think the Pokedex is broken. Nothing is stronger than Mewtwo. Here, I’ll just throw a Pokeball at it.
The Pokeball catches “Rainsplat.”
Our heroes, after getting through Mt. Moon, head to Cerulean City. What adventures await them there? Will they run into a new companion? We’ll find out in episode 4!
EPISODE 4: CERULEAN CITY SHOWDOWN!
At this point, our heroes have caught a good number of Pokemon. Yoyo Yoshi has a Rhyhorn, Tauros, Scyther, Tangela, and Geodude, and a mysterious Pokemon named “Rainsplat.” Kirb has a Dratini, Rattata, Nidoran (F), and Pidgey. Yoshi002 has a Zubat, Diglett, and Pikachu. Now, they want a second badge.
Yoyo Yoshi: I want a second badge!
But they went to the Cerulean City Gym, and they were told that Misty was busy swimming in a pool somewhere. The trio then hears a guard pleading to someone.
Security Guard: I don’t want trouble!
Kirb: Huh?
Jessie: Prepare for trouble!
James: And make it double.
Suddenly, someone else barges in.
Tharder9: Hi Team Rocket. I’m tharder9, and I got two words to say. Mew, psychic!
Mew zaps Team Rocket and they go flying.
Team Rocket: We’re blasting off again!
Yoyo Yoshi: Who are you?
Tharder9: I’m Tharder9. My only Pokemon is Mew. It was a gift from my great grandparents. Now I want the other 150.
Yoshi002: Lucky! I thought Mew was a legendary Pokemon!
Tharder9: It is. Does that make me a legendary trainer?
Kirb: Definitely.
Commercial Break: Go and visit Nintendo 64 Paradise, the #1 place to view Nintendo 64 and Game Boy information! And now, back to the world of Pokemon!
Who’s that Pokemon? And…it’s Aerodactyl! What do you mean there’s no Aerodactyl in this episode? Shh…quiet.
Our heroes have been joined by a new companion, Tharder9. But who is this mysterious Tharder9 and where does he come from?
Tharder9: I came from a galaxy far far away. I came here because of a war and I hate wars. The galaxy is called the Star Wars Galaxy.
Yoyo Yoshi: I have no idea what you are talking about.
Kirb: What about Mew?
Tharder9: Mew is from the Star Wars Galaxy. That's why he was never found.
Yoshi002: I don’t believe you.
They walk around Cerulean City, and then some Poke Maniac barges in for a battle.
Poke Maniac: Get ready for a battle! 2 vs. 2! I choose Slowpoke!
Yoshi002: I’ll take you on. I’m ready. Go, Pikachu!
Poke Maniac: Slowpoke, use confusion!
Yoshi002: Pikachu, thunder shock!
Slowpoke confuses Pikachu, and Pikachu knocks itself out.
Yoshi002: Pikachu, return! Go, Zubat!
Poke Maniac: Slowpoke, headbutt!
Yoshi002: Zubat, bite!
Zubat is faster. Slowpoke is such a slowpoke. Zubat bites and knocks out Slowpoke.
Poke Maniac: Slowpoke, return! Go, Charmander!
Yoshi002: Charmander?
Yoshi002 pulls out the Pokedex.
Pokedex: Charmander, a fire reptile Pokemon. Charmander tends to char other Pokemon.
Yoshi002: Zubat, bite!
Poke Maniac: Charmander, ember!
Charmander burns Zubat to a crisp.
Yoshi002: Zubat, return! I guess you win.
Poke Maniac: Don’t feel so bad. I am the superior trainer.
Kirb spots a tornado in the distance moving towards them.
Kirb: Oh no!
Tharder9: What?
Kirb: A tornado is coming towards us!
Tharder9: Yikes!
Yoshi002: Go, Diglett! Use earthquake!
Yoyo Yoshi: Earthquake?
Yoshi002: I bought the TM from a salesman last night and sprayed it on Diglett. Diglett instantly learned it.
Yoyo Yoshi: Earthquake works on tornadoes?
Yoshi002: It does. Wait and see.
Should we wait and see? Why do disasters happen? We’ll find out next time!
